BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Programs Manager will provide leadership over the commercial / marketing aspects of digital and non-digital integrated marketing communications programs across Gems Sensors, Setra, Anderson Instrument and Venture Measurement. This person will build and develop a team in China to support global efforts and develop and implement appropriate local efforts to drive sales growth and brand awareness. This position will be responsible for developing marketing communications strategies and implementing programs to meet the following key business objectives and goals:
Provide sales-ready leads to our sales teams and distributors
Position each company as the leader in its segment and the partner of choice
Increase unaided brand awareness with end users and OEMs
Generate preference and demand from users for our solutions
Manage China marketing budget for maximum, efficient delivery of the above
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Develop and lead implementation of a digital marketing strategy for China, including performing analysis, to identify value creating opportunities. Create the business case the actions required to implement the strategy.
Develop and implement appropriate marketing campaigns to improve website traffic and generate awareness of brands, products and/or programs.
Lead the management and implementation of the lead generation fulfillment system
Develop standard work to support global lead generation and digital marketing metrics. Implement global, and appropriate local visual management to measure effectivesness of campaigns and other actions. Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify and exploit opportunities. Provide fast, accurate reports to improve and/or add functionality in order to gain the best ROI for the organization.
Build and develop a high-performing team to drive marketing communications excellence online and offline and to identify and cultivate leads until they appropriately migrate to sales channels
Provide marketing solutions through website(s), driving traffic (PPC, SEO, online advertising), email marketing and social media programs.
Understand and support integration with other technology tools: Salesforce.com (CRM System), JDEdwards (ERP), Marketo, Business Objects, etc.
Develop, prepare, and oversee the Marketing Communications budget for China within the global budget
Maintain offline/online brand messaging so it is consistent across platforms and with global messaging
Review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively deliver the communication and business objectives.
Remain up to date on digital best practices and industry trends and articulate business impacts.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in business, marketing, communication or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5+ years of experience within a multinational company responsible for setting and executing digital marketing strategies
Website Aptitude: ability to edit/rewrite marketing content to fit space availability, ability to logically layout information - visual layout sensitivities, ordered/systematic - presentation consistency
Experience with external provider management as well as project & stakeholder management
Understanding of interactive communications, delivery systems, user interface design and knowledge of webpage and navigation layout and design
Knowledge of HTML a plus
SPECIAL SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Business-level English oral and written communication skills essential
